A vast spectrum of visual delights awaits the visitor as they travel along this lofty highway. Vista points provide an array of views from the shades of green in the foreground trees to the blue haze in the distant mountains. Large fields of rock and gnarled trees from winter winds and ice give testimony to the harsh environment the early settlers had on these mountains.
